Zach Smith

Zach is an accomplished commercial operations and business development leader with 10+ years of experience managing infrastructure construction projects and industrial service teams.

Most recently, as an Advisory Manager at KPMG, Zach led several key projects including leading the project management office and an ERP transformation for a Fortune 500 company.

Prior to KPMG, Zach spent nearly a decade at Kent, an industrial engineering service company, where he served as Lead Project Manager for three large pipeline infrastructure projects.

Zach’s accomplishments include:

• Leading a team of 60 employees and contractors to achieve $20M in revenue at greater than 20% gross margins for 24 months.

• Managing multiple crews of civil, mechanical, electrical contractors including pipefitters, welders, and painters / insulators.

• Developing project budgets, standardized contracts, and maximized business line performance while maintaining high service quality.

• Developing and leading campaigns to support clients to build B2B and B2C marketing strategies.
  

Zach received both a Master of Engineering in Technical Management and a BS in Technology Management from Texas A&M University.
